Built environment includes churches, dwellings, and fortifications. Scene of battle on the Plains of Abraham. / Wolfe first attempted to attack the French at Quebec from the front and was rebuffed. Hearing of a narrow path which led up to the Plains of Abraham above the town, he led his troops up at night.
